Occupational Therapy & Coaching with Understanding, Care & Practical Tools.
Access to Work Coaching for Neurodivergent Adults
What is Access to Work Coaching?
Access to Work (AtW) is a UK government scheme that helps remove barriers to work for disabled and neurodivergent people. If you're autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, you may be eligible for funded coaching support to help you thrive at work.
I offer specialist neurodiversity-affirming coaching through Access to Work, supporting you with the practical, emotional, and sensory challenges that can come up in the workplace.
This support is sometimes listed in access-to-works report as ADHD coaching, neurodivergence coaching, support worker, support strategy coaching (and more names!- if you're unsure email me)
How I Can Help
As a multiply neurodivergent Occupational Therapist, I understand the spiky profiles, demand avoidance, executive functioning challenges, and sensory needs that can affect your work life.
My support is person-centred and designed with you in mind. Support might include:
Building confidence & self-advocacy at work
Executive functioning support (planning, memory, organisation)
Managing sensory overload or burnout
Understanding your sensory profile & tools to support you
Burnout & energy management
Creating weekly/monthly etc plans to support you
Navigating remote work or communication differences
Creating sustainable routines or transitions
Setting goals and accountability partnering
Identifying reasonable adjustments
Support for demand avoidance, masking, and workplace fatigue
Anything at home which is impacting you at work e.g sleep, emotions & much more
What is coaching with you like?
As an HCPC registered independent occupational therapist, I bring an OT approach to coaching. While I describe it as coaching for access to work purposes, it’s really occupational therapy at its core, just delivered in a flexible, approachable way. This offers clients the added reassurance of working with a professional who is insured, accountable, and adheres to robust record-keeping, GDPR compliance, and ethical standards.
Sessions are tailored to the individual but generally look like a mix of validation and verbal processing & practical support (and if wanted, accountability, partnering, and body doubling/ doing tasks together), e.g creating the plans and figuring out and experimenting. Other clients like to have things a little more "session by session" in that they decide the session before what they would like to talk about & have support with e.g "can you help me with invoicing/ create an accountability plan for XYZ tasks next time".
Although I'm an OT so use these skills, lived experience is at the heart of my support, so I often share stories and use this to validate - "I get it!, me too". I often use humour, talk about shared interests, use fidgets, bring plushies and swearing is welcome, I'm more informal in my communication style unless I'm writing something like a formal report, I also am not a "blank slate" I give reactions and facial expressions e.g I celebrate with you by smiling, clapping and sometimes a little dance and frown and drop my jaw if someones treated you badly. We are equals & I am very open and happy to be asked questions. I'm of course also happy to support with any adjustments you need and welcome feedback continuously.
Is It Funded?
Yes! If you’re eligible for Access to Work, the government will usually cover the cost of around 12 coaching sessions (sometimes more). You don’t need a formal diagnosis, and it’s free to apply.
I also provide guidance on applying for Access to Work, I know forms can be overwhelming.

ADHDers and AuDHDers (diagnosed or self-identifying)
People with mental health conditions, other types of neurodivergence e.g dyslexia, dyspraxia, tourettes's
