This post is about the #neurodivergentumbrella , the term neurodivergent is an umbrella term covering the neurotypes (and more) within the image. #neurodivergent as a term is often thought of to just be another word for, or euphemism for autism. This is not true! Neurodivergent simply means your brain functions differently from neurotypical people.
Neurodivergence can be from birth Eg autism , or it can be acquired eg brain injury or depression
Being neurodivergent isn’t a medical term, it’s an identity
